Children's Ministry
At WVPC we understand that God has an incredible purpose for every child—that they are created, blessed, and loved by God through Jesus more than words can describe. That is why WVPC has a long-standing, major commitment to children’s ministries; it is a major part of what we are all about because we believe that it’s a major part of what God is all about. Sunday School
Our Sunday school classes for nursery through junior high age kids meet during the main worship service. Our Toddlers, Pre-K, K children, 1st-3rd, and 4th-5th Graders use the age-specific all-new LIVE BIG Bible-based, multimedia curriculum that teaches them how to live big lives for God. (For more information please check out www.ilivebig.com.) First-time visitors should stop by our Welcome Center or Sunday School Resource Center where a helpful volunteer will direct them to the place where Sunday school classes for their kids will be meeting. Visitors may also prefer having their kids stay with them through the whole service until they are comfortable having them go to Sunday school. (Kids are always welcome to stay in the worship service with their parents.)
What happens during a typical Sunday school class? After each child is greeted and is given an opportunity for social interaction and playtime with peers, the child will hear a group Bible story or lesson. The classes often include a craft, project, video, or music related to the Bible story. These activities provide the kids with an opportunity for creative expression. They really enjoy the time together, and our class sizes facilitate personal interaction, so that each child receives attention and feels welcome. Parents are welcome to visit, participate, and observe, too.
Vacation Bible School: June 23-27, 2008
Vacation Bible School at WVPC is an awesome experience for kids! Come join us, along with hundreds of other kids as we learn about the amazing love of God, learn the joy of serving in God’s kingdom, and have tons of fun along the way. Cherub Choir (3 1/2 - 5 Year Olds)

Celebrate Kids! (Pre-School through 6th Grade)
Celebrate Kids is the children’s program that runs simultaneously with WVPC’s Celebrate Family seminars. Celebrate Family features world class teaching on building family success along with a great, catered dinner for the whole family. While the adults have their program, the kids go to “Celebrate Kids” which features dynamic kids worship, a Bible lesson, and big-fun surprises. Celebrate Kids is super fun and super engaging for kids and their faith. Celebrate Family is offered several times a year. Check the home-page for updates.
