Santa Marta Mission Pictures
We are so glad that you have a chance to review our pictures of Rancho Santa Marta. There were many opportunities to serve for all ages. As the pictures show, we had folks volunteering in the kitchen, with the children, constructing the drainage ditch, tiling, sewing and pruning the orchard. In addition John Han and others took great pictures. Everyone worked very hard but the bonds that were formed will be with us as a church family forever. If you didn't go on the trip this year, thank you for your prayers! And...there is always next year!
Rancho Santa Marta is a non-denominational Evangelical Christian Ministry for needy Mexican children. It is located on a 450-acre ranch, about 60 miles south of Ensenada, in Baja California.
18 people from WVPC served there on a short-term mission trip from February 27th to March 5th. Bob Moorehead was our leader and is on the board of Rancho Santa Marta. He has led trips for many many years but declares that the trip with WVPC was the best ever!
What is a Short-Term Mission Trip?
A Short-Term Mission Trip is an opportunity to engage firsthand in God's work around the world. It is a way to personally experience ministries of compassion, justice, and evangelism in a cross-cultural setting. Short-term mission experiences not only bless others, but they are one of the most powerful catalysts for your own spiritual growth.
Here is how we were blessed on our trip.
