Steve received his BA in Bible and Communications from Simpson University and has spent the last 30 years serving God through youth and worship ministries. Steve has visited our Senior High Ministry program as well as Crash Zone and Middle School Ministry. He is excited to get started here at WVPC and become an integral part of the life of our church.

All are invited to participate in our 5th Annual Tamale Making Party!

Even if you are not going on the trip this is still a good event to participant in as a way of supporting the mission work of the church. Sales of our tamales will go to offset the cost of Rancho Santa Marta for our Missions Team.
A free pizza lunch will be provided!
We will be assembling all day until all the tamales are steamed and bagged.
We will teach you how it is done!

Children’s Choir Begins January 17, 2016!
Why have a Children’s Choir? It’s a good question.
· A Children’s Choir is a time, a place, and a setting where boys and girls can learn about God through music.
· A Children’s choir is a place where children can be affirmed and learn to affirm others.
· A Children’s choir is a place for musical growth, a place where children can get off to a healthy start learning the foundations of good singing and the basics of reading music.
· A Children’s choir is a place where children can grow in their understanding of worship and how singing can both honor God and serve others.
Our Children’s Choir, for Grades 2 – 5, will begin on January 17 during the 2nd hour.
From West Valley Community Services
I just wanted to take the time and say Thank you so much for allowing West Valley Community Services to utilize your church for our annual Holiday Shopping Spree. We were able to serve 205 households, and we couldn’t have done it without your support. A very special thank you to Peggy and all the volunteers that dedicated their Saturday to our clients. Thank you again , and we look forward to working with West Valley Presbyterian Church in the future.
