Are you looking for an opportunity to serve WVPC which is not time intensive?
The WVPC Foundation is seeking members, and is an organization which might be a perfect fit for you. The Foundation is a vehicle which determines how to spend gifts received by the church.
The group meets 4 times a year and meetings usually last about 30 minutes. Participation in this organization is a great way to serve the church.
To join the Foundation or for more information about it, contact Bill Day, Doug Gips, Barbara Thorp, or Zee DelFiugo.
The Messiah Brass
The Messiah Brass was formed in 2011. The quintet is comprised of Christian musicians from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area whose vision is to glorify the Lord through musical excellence (Psalm 33:3; 1 Cor. 10:31). They have led area congregations and audiences in worship numerous times. The Messiah Brass players worship in their home churches and work in their vocations in addition to maintaining an active brass playing schedule.
Members of the Messiah Brass are:
Rick Fleer - Trumpet Mark Dungan - Trumpet
Earl Pitman - Tuba Becky Dugan - Trombone
Samuel King - Horn
The Messiah Brass will participate (as the guest brass ensemble) in a concert at Valley Church on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 7:00pm. This concert will feature the organists of Valley Church, and will also include several combinations of instruments (solo organ, brass & organ and solo brass).
Valley Church is located at 10885 N. Stelling Rd. Cupertino, CA. 95014.
