Please pray for the Howard Family as they mourn the passing of Milton Howard. Milt went to the be with the Lord on May 24, 2016, following a stroke. He was a dear friend to Carroll McCune and a long-time member of WVPC. The family is having a private service for Milt near San Francsico.
Thanks to all of you who came to the CREST Award ceremony. We had 25+ people attend from WVPC. The award is on display in the church lobby so please stop by and see it!
· We will be commissioning our houseboat team and you will receive a name of a youth or advisor to pray for.
· We will be hearing from a staff member of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, who leads the DeAnza Campus chapter. He will be talking about the exciting things happening there and how we can partner.
· Don’t forget to send Veronica the name and school of your graduate to include on the list next Sunday. They will be acknowledged in the service next Sunday.
There will be a congregational meeting following the service on June 12th, to vote on Session Elder nominee, Todd Misfeldt and to vote on the sale of the manse, paying down of the mortgage, and the purchase of another manse. All WVPC members should plan to attend. Here is the proposal from Session to the Congregation, up for vote on June 12:
