Meet our Speaker, Rio Joy Laxa
My name is Rio Joy Laxa. I grew up in Virginia and nine years ago, took a leap of faith to move to the big California. I am 33 years old and have been on an incredible adventure with Jesus. My experience interacting with the youth at Crash Zone, and then directing the program was a wonderful part of that adventure.
I now serve as the Worship Leader at Lifetree Church and also on their ministry and missionary team to the Bay Area, one of the most unchurched areas of the United States. I am passionate about walking with women into wholeness and freedome.
I am also a Compassionate Entrepreneur with a missional business called Trades of Hope. It is our desired to empower women out of poverty through job creation and sustainable business. It is our mission to displace the cycle of poverty as well as restore hope and dignity back into women's lives.
