Kairos

Our moment in God's Time
On the last Sunday evening of every month at 5 pm, something very exciting is happening at West Valley Presbyterian Church.
That something is 'Kairos'.
"Kairos" is a Greek word which is defined as "a passing instant when an opening appears which must be driven through with force if success is to be achieved." or "the appointed time in the purpose of God."
Kairos Gatherings are centered on sensory experience, active participation, response, art and music. The themes are always biblical, focusing on God's story (Creation, incarnation, re-Creation) throughout time, and His vision for the present and future.
The purpose of 'Kairos' is to connect to the spiritually hungry people in our community, especially those with a post-Christian world view, and encourage new followers of Christ.
The Kairos Gathering is on haitus while we pray and strategize how to best follow God's call to serve the spiritually hungry in the Silicon Valley.
