Music at WVPC
West Valley Presbyterian Church enjoys a strong tradition of glorifying God through music excellence. Led by our Director of Music, Joshua Elder, WVPC offers a unique mix of contemporary and traditional styles that reflects our intention of being a multi-generational community and a diverse, musical community. Besides supporting the community in all our worship experiences, we offer many special musical events throughout the year including the Messiah Sing, Christmas Music Celebration, Good Friday Music Service, and Easter Sunday, as well as other special events throughout the year. WVPC’s Music Ministry features the Chancel Choir, Contemporary Worship Ensemble, Bell Choir, as well as the Cherub Choir and other children’s choirs. The common thread throughout all our music is a commitment to excellence that glorifies God. Or, as one visitor recently said, “You guys have great music here!” At WVPC we are truly blessed to have outstanding music, and we invite everyone to come to our 9:30am Worship Celebration on Sundays to experience it yourself.
