6:00PM CHRIST-CENTERED GROUP FOR PEOPLE COPING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS AND THOSE SUPPORTING THEM
Mental illness strikes 1 in 17 people. Despite ongoing research that shows mental illness to be primarily caused by a biochemical imbalance in the brain, and in light of the tremendous advances in psychiatric drugs to assist people, there continues to be ongoing stigma associated with mental illness.
It is easy to feel isolated and alone, especially in your faith when mental illness strikes. Those coping and supporters alike need fellowship and a safe place to share and to pray together.
HELP is a support group that is available to people who are affected by mental illness. Those who suffer from mental illness and also those who are supporting loved ones with mental illness are welcome to come. We are here to help.
We meet:
Tuesday evenings
6:00-7:30pm, in Room 11/12
For More information, contact Pastor Kim Engelmann at
