God has an incredible purpose for every person. He has designed each one of us with special gifts and talents to bless others and to help bring his kingdom of peace, goodness, healing, life, and justice. This is at the core of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. At WVPC we encourage everyone in the church community to serve in ministry (to the church community) and mission (to the local community and the world) whether they have been in our community for one day or for many years. In doing so we come into the fullness of a relationship with God: We discover God’s purpose for our lives, we discover some of the deepest satisfaction of life, we discover extraordinary joy, fullness, blessing, and peace. This is how God seeks to bless us and to bless the world around us. See the list below for some featured ministry opportunities. Jump In! Go Serve! And in the process experience God like you may never have before!
