Presentation Guidelines
This page describes the capabilities, process, and hints for digital presentations in WVPC's sanctuary.
Overview WVPC's sanctuary is equipped to present audio, video, and image files during a service or presentation. There is a main projection screen in the front and two side monitors for the congregation. For presenters, there is a rear screen as well as two monitors in front of the pews. Presenters can use their own notebook computer provided that it can output a HDMI video signal. If you do not have the skills or resources to create the necessary media the church staff can assist. Please contact us to explore this possibility. Video output should ideally be in a 16:9 aspect ratio (wide screen) but a standard 4:3 aspect ratio will work, too. If you have a slide show of images we suggest a timing of 5-9 seconds/picture. Process
Provide WVPC with the final media to be shown 24 to 48 hours before the service or event. This allows us to confirm it displays properly and provides time for corrections or last-minute changes. If this lead time isn't possible then please submit the media at least one hour before the service. Materials provide later than this may be refused as they can't be incorporated into the service without sufficient lead time. Materials can be submitted via email, USB drive, CD, or DVD to Dave Blanchard, through the church office at (408) 252-1365 or [email protected]. |
