If you have a heart for the homeless, under-served, and under-nourished among us, we warmly welcome you to participate on the last Saturday afternoon of each month. Our service ministry offers a warm meal, music and singing, spiritual instruction, love, acceptance, simple listening, and caring.
Come for part or all of the afternoon to serve as an extended family. Beginning about 1 p.m. in McHattie Hall, we prepare a hot meal for about 40 people.
After cleaning up in McHattie Hall, we load everything in cars and travel to St. Mark Lutheran Church (125 E. Arques Ave in Sunnyvale), where a meal is served at 3:00 p.m. WVPC members lead singing, prayer, and a message of encouragement in Christ, beginning about 4:15 p.m. Clean-up follows at 4:45 p.m. or so.
